Cytific Labs ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Topos: World Land & Area Calc mobile application.

1. Offline-First Architecture & Data Collection

Topos is designed with a strict Offline-First philosophy. All land measurements, custom units, historical records, and financial calculations you create are stored entirely locally on your device via an encrypted SQLite database.

• We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.
• We do not require you to create an account or log in.

2. Location Data (GPS)

Our app includes a Map Perimeter tool that requires access to your device's location (Fine and Coarse location permissions). This data is used exclusively to:

• Display your current position on the map.
• Calculate area boundaries when you walk a perimeter.
• Automatically detect your country to suggest localized land units.

Your location data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to Cytific Labs or tracked remotely.

3. Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data, we utilize industry-standard third-party SDKs to provide core app functionality and monetization:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the free tier of the app. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can review their privacy policy here.
• RevenueCat: Used to securely manage and process "Pro" subscription upgrades via Google Play Billing. RevenueCat processes anonymized purchase receipts but does not have access to your personal identity. You can review their privacy policy here.

4. Children's Privacy

Our application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
